College Women's Basketball Tracker
The standings tell you a team's record, but not how long its fans have been waiting.
Each of the 32 Division I conferences has its own tracker, and this page ties them together. The conference trackers hold the detail: standings, schedules, results, box scores, weekly recaps and head-to-head records. This hub holds the view across all of Division I, including all 363 teams ranked by how long since they last won.
The number counts calendar days between a team's most recent win and today. A team that won yesterday reads 1. A team that won earlier today reads 0. Regular season, conference tournament and postseason wins all count. If a team has not won yet this season, the count reaches back into previous seasons to find its last one, which is why numbers run into the hundreds before the season starts in November.
Each team page also counts the days since its last NCAA Tournament win, looking back as far as the 2001–02 season, and since it last won its conference tournament, over the last 10 seasons. NIT and other postseason wins count toward the record but not toward the tournament wait. National titles are counted from the first NCAA tournament in 1982, using the NCAA's own list of champions, and are shown as the year of the title. Vacated titles are not counted.
While games are in progress, scores refresh about once a minute. On game days, which from November to March means nearly every day, everything refreshes every five minutes, and every thirty minutes otherwise. A finished game updates the score, the record, the standings order and the drought counter at the same time.
Scores, schedules, box scores, conference standings and the AP Top 25 all come from ESPN's public college women's basketball data. Standings follow ESPN's conference order, which applies each conference's tiebreakers, rather than a simple win percentage sort. Tip-off times are shown in local time at the arena.
